GUEST CONCIERGE (Front Desk Coordinator)

The Guest Concierge is responsible for the reception area at the spa including greeting all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding spa services and products. This position is also responsible for booking appointments, checking the guest into the computer system and charging for services performed.



 Properly open and close WaxBeautique each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Accurately book, change and cancel WaxBeautique  appointments.

Provide detailed descriptions of waxing services, packages, treatments, memberships facility features and hours of operation.

Maintain the register through proper open, pre-close and close procedures, and communicate any discrepancies to management.

Actively promote treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.

Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.

Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.

Maintain a clean; safe, fully stocked and well-organized work area.



Be on time for your shift.

Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves wax facilities.

Answer the phone promptly and use the guest’s name throughout the phone conversation.

Maintain eye contact when addressing external and internal guests.

Communicate to management all occurrences involving staff or guests in the wax that require attention.

Attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the wax.

Utilize wax computers with skill and proficiency.



Minimum 30 hrs. of college courses

This position must be able to stay on their feet for long periods of time.

Able to reach, bend, climb, grasp, kneel, push, pull and twist as needed.

Must read and write English in a clear and concise manner.


Local travel to meetings and training may be required


Wax Spa Manager

The Office Manager will oversee the general administrative function and activities of the office.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the daily work activities of the office.

  • May handle or assist with discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.


  • Performs or facilitates maintenance of office equipment including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.

  • Provides clerical support when needed to assist clerical staff with assigned administrative duties such as answering phones, sorting and distributing mail, and preparing documents.

  • Oversees petty cash fund.

  • Maintains inventory of office supplies; orders new supplies as needed.

  • Maintains office files; implements an efficient system for other staff to access files and records.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Handle client complaints 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to type at least 60 words per minute.

  • Extensive knowledge of office management procedures.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in office administration or related field preferred.

  • At least three years of administrative and clerical experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.


Wax Specialist

The Wax Specialist is responsible for performing waxing and hair removal services on clients. You will meet with clients to discuss their hair removal needs and determine the appropriate service(s) and tools to use. When performing these services, consider best practices and company learned techniques for different body areas and clients' preferences.


  • Create a relaxed and comfortable environment for clients.

  • Conduct consultations with clients to discuss their waxing needs and preferences

  • Wax body parts, including the face, back, legs, and arms

  • Perform company learned method of hair removal techniques 

  • Educate clients about waxing preparation and procedures

  • Address clients' needs by using training  techniques

  • Provide additional skincare and beauty services as needed

  • Follow relevant health and safety regulations

  • Maintain clean and sanitary work environments and tools

  • Advise clients about proper after-care practices following appointments

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
